So in an age when kids are born with a xbox controller in hand we at the Live Simple Nashville community want to encourage everyone to get involved with our families. We dont really think that needs to be in any particular event - just play in the garden or eat meals together is a good start.  Live on the Green - free concert series |
Lightning 100, Team Green and Mayor Dean are teaming up to create a free, outdoor concert series in downtown Nashville! Live On the Green will be a green series held every Thursday between September 3 and October 8 in Public Square Plaza adjacent to the Nashville Courthouse. The event will highlight local artists as well as national touring acts with roots in Music (see more here) |

The Metro Parks Nature Center program offers a system of four nature centers that work together across the county with a mission to provide environmental education and outdoor recreation, natural resource management, and to raise awareness, foster respect and share enthusiasm for the natural world. Each nature center has a unique interpretive theme and programmatic focus related to the individual park. |
