Nashville is bursting at the seems with locally grown food and there are many ways for you to get your hands on it. From the Farmers Markets in Nashville and Franklin to a plethora of mini markets and CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture) That are available seasonally. We will supply links and info to as many of these as we can. These are all vitally important for us to support and they are the best way for us to get local fresh produce.

Aside from our local stores there are a number of CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture) and these truly are a excellent way to support local farms and to receive bundles of various fruits and vegetables, some even offer eggs, meat and other products like breads, honey and more! My experience has been with Avalon Acres and i shared a full bundle with my neighbors. They have a full selection of simple bundles to full family packages.  For local Milk there are a number of options depending on your comfort levels. Cow shares are available for anyone looking for raw milk and raw milk products there are a number of sources here. Anyone interested in learning about raw milk there are a number of sources online but for Tennessee specifically this site gives plenty of information. For non homogenized but still pasteurized milk Hatcher Family Dairy have a great variety and it is readily available. Look on their site for where you can buy it. They also let you go and tour the farm and this is well worth the visit and great fun for all ages!
