How has eating become such a science? Why do I have to spend so much time staring a nutrition labels
to know what i am eating and if it is the right thing. Lets just step back and realize food is pretty simple. If i may steal the tag line from Michael Pollans new book "In Defense of Food" eat food, not too much, mostly plants. I think now it is becoming more and more important to stop eating out of a box or tube and go back to the farmers market and get the misshapen, odd sized vegetable and and enjoy the natural and infinitely more delicious food as often as we can. There are so many ways we can now find and enjoy locally grown produce that with a tiny bit of effort and forming some good
habits we can all be enjoying real food the way it was meant to be.
Here we will have readers recipes and ideas for great, healthy and simple meals. We will also discuss some great products that can help us along the way.I am also going to try and lead us all to the many varied ways we can all get our hands on locally grown and/or organic foods. Not only are these foods more healthy and more delicious we are also supporting our local farmers.
